Home Care Charge Rates
At Carers at Home, we believe in openness and transparency when it comes to the cost of home care services. We charge a consistent rate to all clients and do not increase our fees as care needs evolve. Our charges would only increase if our carers spend more time with you.
Unlike some of our competitors, we never charge a call out fee, PPE surcharge or travel expenses. The rates quoted below are all inclusive for the service we provide.
Exemption Status: No VAT is chargeable on our care services.

Weekday Charge Rates
30 Minutes - £28.10
45 Minutes - £31.25
60 Minutes - £36.40
Weekend Charge Rates

Live-in Care Charge Rates
At Carers at Home, we believe in openness and transparency when it comes to the cost of live in care services. We charge a consistent rate to all clients and do not increase our live-in care fees as care needs evolve. No VAT is chargeable on our care services.
We provide fully managed live-in care options across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, London, Oxfordshire, Surrey, West Sussex, and Wiltshire.
Base Plan
£1,625 / week
Includes up to 11 hours of active, proactive care per day spread flexibly across your routine.
Top Up Plan
£2,050 / week
Includes up to 13 hours of active care per day, seamlessly arranging local team elements to cover carer breaks.
24 Hour Plan
£4,050 / week
Ensures a carer is fully awake around the clock ready to provide continuous active clinical care.

The true cost — price per hour vs. total value
Carers at Home: £1,625 per week · up to 77 hours of active support · from £21.10 per active-support hour
Active support hours: up to 11 hours a day of hands-on care; a live-in carer is not actively working across all 24 hours. Optional extras — such as top-up visiting care, waking-night or double-up support — are quoted separately where needed. Definitions of active care hours vary between providers.
A lower advertised hourly rate can look cheaper, but often works out more expensive once you add payroll and pension costs, holiday and sick pay, agency or matching fees, insurance, and out-of-hours cover. With us, the managed service sits within one transparent weekly fee — with no employment responsibilities to carry, and a free assessment before you commit.
